our background
David Berliner, Robin Lockwood, and Keats Myer bring years of nonprofit experience to Greater Good Consulting: most recently, Berliner as President of the Brooklyn Museum, Lockwood as Director of Community Engagement at the North Fork Arts Center, and Myer as Executive Director at the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
The three became friends and colleagues at Madison Square Park Conservancy in New York City while collaborating on a strategic planning process that mapped out the future for the Park and the surrounding community. They shared similar values, complementary skills, and a drive for success that led the organization to new levels of excellence - creating programmatic successes that included winning the highly acclaimed role as the American Representative to the 2019 Venice Biennale, and creating ground-breaking climate-related best practices in park operations. Together they successfully fostered a culture of collaboration and teamwork among staff and Board, built significant and lasting community support, and drove meaningful gains in earned and contributed revenue, achieving long-lasting financial stability.
Myer, Berliner, and Lockwood share a common commitment to excellence – from clarity of mission, through planning, communication and execution, with a focus on clear and measurable results. Now this team feels passionate about sharing their experience and knowledge with other organizations to help them thrive and grow.
